For You Dear

I wrote this song because there have been many deaths recently relating to drugs overdoses. I noticed how today’s society writes about drugs as if they are influencing others to try them in music. By having so many celebrities write about all different types of drugs, a lot of the young listeners get influenced such as high schoolers. As a student in high school, I notice how many students have used and/or are using the same drugs as many celebrities sing or rap about. For You Dear is about me watching so many people starting to get addicted to drugs and watching them slip away from reality and themselves.
